jessica: ready for bed... you had gone to your bedroom to play while i cleaned up after dinner... it's very quiet i thought after some time... there you were, curled up fast asleep in a box with all of your stuffed toys... sunlight streaming through the window...

jessica: i hadn't taken out the camera once this whole week until this morning when i remembered i needed a photo for this weeks 52... 1. "can i take your photo please?"... 2. "how's this?" you replied pulling a funny photo face... 3."i'm happy with that one" i said as the camera clicked one more time and you went back to watching play school... well actually your eyes never left the television screen!

jessica: 'fun in the sun' your wet shirt says it all... there is no keeping you out of the water which is still quite cold and so are some of the days that you request a swim at the beach (which is every day now)... there is no doubt we will be spending many, many hours frolicking in the sea this summer season... it is only the beginning...

jessica: after some days away you were more than happy to resume your flower picking exploits in our garden and then get to work back inside. i thought this phase may pass with a break from home and although it has slowed somewhat i can see i was wrong... 

these days

this week...

 busy city days have filled our week, shopping, appointments and visiting family and friends.

a few rare moments were spent enjoying the last days of winter and welcoming in the spring.

1 & 3. i am so happy there are still a few camellia blooms around. we can't grow these at home and i love them so much. i fill like i have had my fix of them for this winter now.

2. a beautiful old weathered gate.

4. he couldn't help but come over to say hello.

5. always looking for a flower to pick.

6. bare shoulders and pony tails, a true sign of how warm it was today, the first day of spring.
