tea party time

we (or should i say i) love to drink tea in this house. i have nearly always got a cup on the go. jess doesn't mind the odd cup of peppermint, chamomile or licorice tea too and has her own tiny tea cup.

not suprising then that she is loving having tea parties with her dolls and teddy's at the moment.

i sewed up some tea bags on the machine and cupcakes by hand from scraps of felt to go with her tea set which is from plan toys.

i have found the hand sewing to be quite relaxing and i think they have turned out very pretty.

the cloth was hand stitched by my nanna when she was young and has been in storage for many years. i thought it would go nicely for playing tea parties.

Felted Pebble Kit, Wool Felting Rocks Stone DIY Tutorial learn to New Hobby Crafting Craft Make your own Handmade Wet Beach Turquoise Blue

i think i may have found a new craft to indulge in.

it looks relaxing.

i have seen so many great felted items on the internet lately and have been keen to get into making some. i thought i would start small and see how i go with this needle and wet felting kit i found on Etsy.

i love these felted rocks, actually i think its the colours that i love.

thinking of making a little collection of eggs for an easter display similar to the ones pictured below.

so sweet.
