i received this gorgeous fabric dandelion fields by saffron craig in the post today. the girly skirt is what i intend for it. super cute, quick and easy pattern by pink fig patterns.
and i finished off the 'owl' top for jess this morning. pleased with the result and she has had it on already. i didn't use a pattern as such. a bit of guess work, a bit of measuring up against an oliver + s pattern and against a shirt from the wardrobe and a bit of looking at this top from pinterest. job done! i think i would like to make a dress like this by adding some extra length. as a top it probably didn't need to be quite so gathered but at least a skivvy will fit underneath when the weather cools down.
