last night i made a recipe from jamie oliver's 30 minute meals cookbook.
it was the first time i tried it and will definitely make it again.
asian style salmon, noodle broth with a beansprout salad.
quite simple, although i am not sure that i had it all done in 30 minutes, may have taken a little longer. i did have to take the time to read the recipe after all.
i have many cookbooks but rarely try the recipes. i usually just look at them for inspiration. quite often i will change a recipe to suit what i have available.
with my new simplified nightly menu plan that i talked about here i think i will find it easier to be organised to have the right ingredients for a recipe and then actually follow it correctly.
so we may be adding a few new favourites to our weekly meals.
