inspiration

i have been doing a little more sewing today.

the bug has struck. i finished a pair of balloon pants for jess and have started on a top. the photos above are of the pants. i love this fabric by kaffe fassett.

i have been inspired by some of the girls clothes i have seen on pinterest lately. so many pretty clothes. below are a few of my favourites recently.

my favourite blog for girls clothing inspiration is avril,avril. so talented. i think i love just about everything this lady makes and the fabrics she uses are gorgeous. oh, the blog is written in french and i unfortunately can't understand a thing but the photos are great.

i have another two skirts i want to make, a long sleeved knit top, another top out of some very pretty navy patterned material, an idea for a pair of pants which i intend to cut a pattern from pair that jess has already (love the style) and i'm thinking of winter jacket ideas.

so i have a bit ahead of me.

also thought i should purchase a pattern for pyjamas and give them a go too.
