out and about

such a beautiful summer's morning here today. 

clear skies, warm sun and a slight breeze. it seemed like everyone was out and about enjoying the fine weather.

we met a cousin of mine, his wife and son, who are travelling through, at the playground.

toddlers don't play together as such but they like each other's company and jess was very excited to go and see charlie. she also liked going to see his "tent" at the caravan park and i can imagine from now on she will ask, every time we drive past, if we can "see charlie".

our playground has had an upgrade over the past six or so months. there is a wonderful interactive fence crafted by local artists. i think kids like this better than the playground itself proving that kids are attracted to natural materials over man made.
